Easter Saturday

We had a nice Easter weekend.

On Saturday we went to an Easter Brunch and egg hunt a friend put on at a local park. Sandie (the organizer) is an amazing woman and a great entertainer who hosts many events like this one each year.

The kids had fun "hunting" for eggs. There were more than 2000 of them and they were all over the place! Logan liked matching the stickers on the eggs with the pictures on his bingo card. He got a little frustrated though when his eggs were mixed with Bergen's and he wasn't sure what he had left to find. He did get all 16 at last and chose a gold coin for his prize. A coin he couldn't have been more proud of!

 

 

 

Bergen was more interested in playing than she was in picking up eggs. After she had a few in her bucket she was off to swing with her daddy. The two of them made it to the food before Logan and I did too.

 

 

 

Once the kids had nibbled at the food on their plates they were off to play again. It was fun for them to run around and see their friends.

 

It was pretty chilly though, so they didn't play too long. And after I was satisfied with some sweet family shots to add to my picture mix, we were ready to go.

 

What a good time!
