Craig and I went to watch Logan give a presentation at school and saw this on the wall outside his classroom door. Apparently there was some kind of assignment where the kids had to write about their hero. Logan
never said a word about it.
Here's what he wrote:
You were a hero in the Navy. You would save the world. You are awesome.
Bergen went to Primary for the first time today. And she loved it! She listened, answered questions, and sang to her heart's content.
While taking the ornaments off the tree I noticed a Christmas casualty. One of our Nutcrackers had lost an eye. I was ready to throw it away, but Craig suggested we turn it into a pirate. So I got out a Sharpie...
Bergen asked me today when we're going to start having "Fun Friday's" again. I told her we could have one tonight. Unfortunately she wanted to have one at Castaway Bay!
When I explained that the pool isn't open right now because it's winter, she couldn't help but cry. I guess summer can't come soon enough for my girl.
I love getting together with my brother and sister at Christmas time, but it seems we never get a decent picture. This year I really tried, and again, it's not the best, but, here we are... "The Andriese Kids" (At least that's what our orthodontist called us when we walked into his office in our youth. He really liked the fact that
we could open our mouths wide!)
