Blog Gone

I hate it when I let my blog go for too long without posting. I did it once before and thought I would never do it again!

Then I got a job.

Lots has happened since I started working. So in order to document the goings on for my posterity, I am going to attempt to catch up. Again. Someday.

Green Eggs and Ham

Logan read us a book before going to bed tonight. (He read one last night too. It was called Freight Train and he has checked out from the school library more than once.) Tonight it was Green Eggs and Ham and he read it perfectly!

 

When did my baby become a reader?

Freezer Jam

Another thing that happened over the weekend was that our lovely freezer went out. So as not to have the fruit go to waste I made strawberry-blueberry jam.

 

I don't know what I was thinking since it has to go back in the freezer!

General Conference Bubbles

The weather was pretty nice this weekend so we gave the kids some bubbles and let them loose between sessions of conference.

 

They had a great time! Too bad the bubbles didn't last longer.

"Red Violet"

Logan has a friend at school who says the funniest things. So funny, that Logan comes home a couple of times a week telling us, Leo said this and Leo said that.


One of the things Leo said that cracks us all up is this: "Red Violet is the color of beauty and lipstick."

Go ahead and say it out loud with the enthusiasm of a kindergartner. Now imagine us laughing every time we pick up a crayon!
