Easter 2010

Easter started yesterday with Craig's family coming over after the first session of General Conference. We had a yummy dinner of grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken, with sides and of course dessert. There were treats from Grandma and Grandpa, and then, finally, an Easter egg hunt. (Oh boy!)

Today the kids woke to Easter baskets on the table and a few eggs to find.

They spent to better part of the morning drawing with their new colored pencils while they waited for conference to start. (I was proud of the way they did during conference. Logan was excited about Conference Bingo yesterday and did a coloring page today. Bergen ate her skittles before she could play bingo, but enjoyed the coloring. And they were both pretty quiet for most of each session. I know its a lot to ask of a 3 and 5 year old!)

This afternoon we headed over to the Jones' for dinner. We've gotten together with the Jones and Holdaway families once a month for almost a year now and today was a fun day to do it. I think we all enjoyed the company and the tasty dinner of ham, potatoes, rolls, green beans, fruit, dessert, and more.

The kids get along well and had fun playing in the backyard.

The guys can always find something to talk about (which is probably not the norm for two of them) and have become good friends.

As for the girls; these women are without a doubt two of my dearest friends.

Thanks for a nice time everyone. And Happy Easter.
